About the Resources

Yes. Everything on Virtual Education Point is free to download, with no signup or payment required. We keep the site running through non-intrusive advertising, not paywalls.

Yes, our templates are designed to match standard formatting requirements (IEEE, APA, MLA, and common university thesis formats). That said, always double-check your specific journal, conference, or institution's formatting guidelines before final submission, since requirements can vary and occasionally change.

Use our Request a Resource form to tell us what you're looking for. We regularly review requests and add new materials based on demand.

We add new templates and study materials regularly. Subscribe with your email in the footer, or check the Browse page's "Newest first" sort to see the latest additions.
Citations & Formatting

In short: APA is common in social sciences and psychology, MLA in humanities and literature, and IEEE in engineering and computer science. See our full Citation Style Guide for formatting rules and examples of each.

Yes - every resource page has a "Cite This Resource" button that generates a ready-to-copy citation in APA, MLA, or IEEE format. If you save multiple resources to Saved Materials, you can also export a full bibliography for all of them at once.
Using the Site

No account is needed to browse or download. "Saved Materials" (your bookmarked resources) are stored locally in your browser rather than tied to an account, so they'll stay on the device and browser you used to save them.

The Study Tools page has a free word/character counter, a GPA calculator, and a Pomodoro-style study timer. We also have a Video Library of tutorials on using our templates effectively.
